I conduct both short-term and long-term psychotherapy with individuals and couples. I specialize in depression, anxiety, personality disorders, chronic medical illness, grief and loss, eating disorders, marriage and relationships, and parenting. I utilize both Cognitive-Behavioral and Psychoanalytic theories and techniques in the psychotherapy services that are offered.

Through maintaining mental health and well-being, I help people reach their personal and professional goals. I help people find balance in their life, maintain a healthy lifestyle while increasing productivity and staying focused, and support them in setting and achieving realistic goals. I offer coaching in person or over the phone.

As a member of the Bauer Mediation Group, I help couples develop options, evaluate alternatives, and reach mutually agreed-upon decisions without the necessity of emotionally and financially draining litigation.

If children are involved, I help couples to work through all co-parenting issues, such as how to tell the children you are getting a divorce, to parenting access schedules, to when it is appropriate to introduce significant others to the children, and all issues in between. While a divorce is traumatic for a family, it does not mean your children cannot adjust and thrive in a restructured family environment. Your children’s coping mechanisms all depend on how the parents interact during the divorce process and beyond.
